Yondercott lies in mid-Devon's Culm Valley, easily reached via M5 Junction 27 then through Uffculme. The A373 from Exeter and A38 from Taunton provide the main access routes, whilst the B3440 offers a prettier drive through Culmstock. Over 50 EV charging points serve the area. The 15th-century Ham stone market cross remains the heart of weekly Thursday farmers' markets.
