Yelling is a small Cambridgeshire village reached via the A14 and B1040 through St Ives. It sits between Huntingdon and Cambridge, serving mainly local traffic to nearby market towns. The village retains its Anglo-Saxon heritage in its unusual name, derived from "Gelling" - meaning "the people of Gella" after an ancient tribal leader.
