Yedingham lies in North Yorkshire's Vale of Pickering, easily reached via the A64 which runs 3km south of the village. Most visitors approach from York (40km) or Scarborough (25km), whilst locals use minor roads connecting to West Heslerton and Ebberston. The village features the substantial ruins of a 12th-century Augustinian priory.
