Yearngill lies in rural Cumbria between Aspatria and Westnewton, reached via the A596 from Carlisle or B5301 from Wigton. The village sits on the Solway Plain's gentle farmland, with the M6 providing long-distance access through Junction 41. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Aspatria and Wigton. An old railway embankment still marks where the former Maryport and Carlisle line once passed through.
