Yeadon sits just northwest of Leeds in West Yorkshire, positioned between the Aire and Wharfe valleys. The A65 provides the main east-west route through town toward Leeds city center, whilst the A658 connects north to Harrogate. Most traffic consists of regional journeys from Leeds, Bradford, or Harrogate, though Leeds Bradford Airport brings additional visitors. The town's defining characteristic is its immediate proximity to the airport, where aircraft noise provides a constant reminder of the wider world beyond this former mill town.
