Wyndford is a Glasgow residential area reached via the A879 Maryhill Road, about 3 miles from the city centre. The M8 motorway lies 4 miles south for longer journeys, whilst Glasgow Airport is 8 miles southwest. The Forth and Clyde Canal towpath forms the area's northern boundary, offering pleasant walks along the historic 35-mile waterway.
