Wroot is a small North Lincolnshire village near the South Yorkshire border, accessed via the A161 from Doncaster or the M180 motorway. The village sits on the former Isle of Axholme, drained marshland creating today's geometric field patterns. With over 60 EV charging points nearby, it's well-connected for modern travel. Wroot was home to William Bradford, future governor of Plymouth Colony.
