Wooperton is a small Northumberland village reached via the A697 from Newcastle (about 50km) or the A68/A697 route from Edinburgh. The surrounding area offers around 20 EV charging points for electric vehicles. The village sits on an ancient drove road once used for moving Scottish cattle to English markets, with traces of the old route still visible as green lanes across the countryside.
