Woodenbridge sits in County Wicklow where the Avoca and Aughrim rivers meet, about 60 kilometres south of Dublin. Take the M11 to Junction 19 at Arklow, then the R752 west for 10 minutes to reach this small village. The area offers grand golf courses including Woodenbridge Golf Club and scenic drives through wooded valleys. Ireland's oldest hotel, Woodenbridge Hotel, has been operating since 1608 right beside the famous confluence of the two rivers.
