Winkleigh is a small Devon market town sitting between Barnstaple and Okehampton, reached via the A377 from Exeter then the B3220. It's well-positioned for crossing between the A30 and North Devon, with decent EV charging nearby. The annual carnival features the wonderfully eccentric "Welly Wanging" competition on the village green.
