Windy Arbour is a residential suburb about 12 kilometres south of Dublin city centre, sitting where the urban area meets the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. The N11 and M11 provide straightforward access into town, while the M50 connects you to the airport and other parts of Dublin. It's handy for heading south to Wicklow or west via the M7. The area has several golf courses nearby, including Powerscourt and Dun Laoghaire, and you'll find EV charging points at the shopping centres in neighbouring Dundrum and Sandyford. The name comes from an old estate with tree-lined grounds that's long since been built over.
