Wimpstone is a small Warwickshire village just off the A3400 between Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford. Reached via the M40 Junction 15 then A429 north, it sits amongst gentle Cotswolds countryside near the River Stour. The 12th-century St. Peter's Church contains remarkable medieval wall paintings, including a rare surviving St. Christopher fresco.
