Wimpole is a small Cambridgeshire village 15km southwest of Cambridge, reached via the A603 from the city or Junction 12 of the M11. The area attracts day-trippers and weekend visitors to Wimpole Estate, a National Trust mansion set in 2,500 acres of parkland with a working farm that still breeds ancient White Park cattle.
