Wilstone is a Hertfordshire village near the Buckinghamshire border, sitting in Chiltern Hills countryside between Tring and Aylesbury. Access is via the A41 then local roads through Gubblecote, or the B488 from Dunstable. The 19th-century Wilstone Reservoir, originally built for the Grand Union Canal, now hosts nesting great crested grebes.
