Whiting Bay lies on Arran's east coast, reached via ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick then six miles south on the A841. The village enjoys a sheltered position with views across to Ayrshire, popular with day-trippers and holidaymakers exploring Scotland's largest Clyde island. About seven EV charging points serve the island. The Victorian pier, built in 1901 for Clyde steamers, still extends into the bay.
