Whipsnade perches on the Chiltern Hills in Central Bedfordshire, roughly 50 kilometres northwest of London. Take the M1 to Junction 9, then follow the A5 briefly before turning onto local roads through Dunstable. The village sits at about 200 metres elevation on chalk downland, with approximately 150 public EV charging points in the surrounding area. ZSL Whipsnade Zoo sprawls across 600 acres here, where you can actually drive your car through parts of the safari sections.
