Wheedlemont lies along the A97 in rural Aberdeenshire, about 45 minutes west of Aberdeen via the A96 and A97. The town connects to nearby villages like Rhynie and Lumsden through quiet country lanes, whilst longer routes follow the A944 from Aberdeen or link north to Huntly. Around six EV charging points serve the area. The old railway viaduct's five stone arches remain a local landmark from the Victorian Great North line.
