Whaplode is a small Lincolnshire village in the fenlands, about 10 miles southwest of Spalding. Reach it via the A151 east-west route or local roads from the A17. The area has over 20 EV charging points nearby. St Bartholomew's church houses a remarkable 13th-century stone knight effigy, considered one of South Lincolnshire's finest medieval sculptures.
