Wexcombe is a small Wiltshire village in the North Wessex Downs, reached via the A338 from Marlborough (8km north) or the A4 network. Most visitors arrive from the M4 at Junction 14 via Hungerford, whilst local trips typically come from nearby Marlborough. The village church of St. Bartholomew houses a remarkably preserved 15th-century doom painting above the chancel arch.
