Wetmore lies in rural Shropshire near the Welsh border, accessible via the A49 and local roads through gently rolling countryside. Most visitors arrive from Ludlow or Craven Arms on short regional journeys, though the A49 provides excellent north-south connections. The village church houses a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen, a rare survivor from pre-Reformation times.
