Westertown lies in rural Aberdeenshire, surrounded by farming communities just 25km northwest of Aberdeen via the A96. The area features an unusually dense cluster of small settlements, with Jackstown, Eastertown, and several others all within a few kilometres, creating an interconnected rural neighbourhood served by country roads branching off the main Aberdeen-Inverness route.
