Westbeech lies in rural Staffordshire near the Shropshire border, easily reached via the A449 from Wolverhampton or the M54. The village clusters with Pattingham and neighboring settlements in gentle farming country. Its 14th-century church houses one of Staffordshire's twelve surviving wooden rood screens.
