Scotland
West Dunnet is a tiny settlement on Caithness's northern coast, reached via the A99 from either Thurso (20km) or John o' Groats (15km). Popular with North Coast 500 tourists and those heading to nearby Dunnet Head, mainland Britain's northernmost point. The area has about 5 EV charging points for the growing number of electric vehicles tackling Scotland's remote northern routes. The 1831 lighthouse at Dunnet Head remains a striking landmark visible from the village.
