Wentbridge is a small West Yorkshire village positioned at Junction 38 of the A1(M), where the motorway crosses the River Went. It's roughly 20 miles southeast of Leeds and serves as a natural waypoint between Yorkshire's major cities. The A1(M) provides main access, with the A639 connecting to Pontefract and local towns. The historic Wentbridge House Hotel, a Georgian coaching inn, has been welcoming travelers at this river crossing for over 200 years.
