Wedmore is a Somerset Levels village that sits on what was once an island in the medieval marshes. Most visitors arrive via Junction 22 of the M5, then the A38 and local roads through Axbridge. The B3139 runs through the village center, connecting north to Cheddar Gorge and south toward Glastonbury. With over 60 public fast chargers nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The parish church houses a stunning 15th-century wooden screen, amongst Somerset's finest medieval craftsmanship.
