Weaste forms part of Salford, positioned along the Manchester Ship Canal just west of Manchester city centre. The M602 provides the main route in, connecting to the M60 orbital at Junction 2, whilst the A57 Liverpool Road runs directly through the area linking Manchester to Eccles. With over 350 EV charging points nearby and excellent motorway connections via the M60, M61, and M62, it's easily accessible from across the northwest. The area is home to the Salford Community Stadium, opened in 2017 as the shared ground for Salford City FC and Sale Sharks.
