Watersheddings forms part of northern Oldham, perched on the Pennine foothills where mill workers once lived in terraced rows. Access is via the A663 Rochdale Road from Oldham centre or the A627 from Shaw, with the M62 Junction 20 providing the main motorway link. The Former Municipal Baths building still stands as a testament to when public bathhouses served workers who lacked private facilities at home.
