Watermillock perches on Ullswater's eastern shore, a Lake District village reached via the scenic A592 from Penrith (6 miles south of Junction 40). This route forms part of the classic Lakes touring circuit, with over 20 EV charging points nearby. The village occupies a relatively sheltered spot between lake and fells, offering access to Helvellyn's eastern routes. All Saints church houses a magnificent 1,000-year-old Anglo-Saxon stone cross.
