Waterlip lies in Somerset's gentle countryside between the Mendip Hills and Glastonbury, connected by the A361 to Shepton Mallet and the M5 corridor. Popular local drives include nearby Cranmore and scenic routes through Dean village, whilst longer journeys head via the A37 to Bath or the A39 coastal route. The city retains a working Victorian water mill that grinds flour every Thursday using original stone wheels.
