Warslow perches on the limestone plateau in the Peak District, reached via the B5053 from Leek or minor roads through Hartington and Sheen. Most visitors come from Stoke-on-Trent or Manchester on longer scenic routes, whilst locals use shorter connections to Leek or Buxton. The 13th-century church houses a remarkable medieval stone effigy of a knight in full armour.
