Warleggan is a small Cornish village nestled in moorland about 15km northeast of Bodmin, reached via the A38 and country lanes. Most visitors arrive from the A30, Cornwall's main route, then navigate narrow single-track roads typical of the county's interior. The mild maritime climate keeps the landscape lush, though winter rains can make the winding lanes tricky. St. Bartholomew's Church houses an exceptional 15th-century rood screen.
