Waldridge is a small County Durham village between Chester-le-Street and Gateshead, easily reached via the A167 from Newcastle or Durham. The area has good EV charging coverage with over 350 fast chargers nearby, particularly around Chester-le-Street. The preserved Pithead Baths building, now housing an auto parts business, reflects the area's mining heritage.
