Walby is a small Cumbrian village just outside Carlisle, easily reached via the A689 in about 10 minutes from the city center. The M74 provides the main route for longer journeys to Scotland. Walby sits close to Castlesteads Roman fort, where you can explore the remains of an ancient Roman bath house from Hadrian's Wall.
