Waitby is a small Cumbrian village in the Eden Valley, reached via the A685 through Kirkby Stephen or from Junction 38 of the M6. The area sits between the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines, with typical upland weather and limestone countryside. The 12th-century church contains exceptional Norman carved stonework depicting the Lamb of God.
