Wagg is a small Somerset Levels settlement reached via the A372 from Langport or minor roads from neighbouring villages like Huish Episcopi. The A37 provides the main route to Yeovil and the M5, whilst the A303 offers connections to London and the West Country. Around 50 EV charging points are available locally, including at nearby RNAS Yeovilton. The village's name derives from an Old English term meaning "to shake," likely referring to the area's historically marshy ground.
