Valleyfield lies in Scotland's central belt, just west of Edinburgh along the A71. It's a straightforward 15-kilometre drive into the capital, making it popular with commuters. Edinburgh Airport sits 8km northeast, whilst Glasgow is about 45 minutes via the M8. The area boasts over 150 EV charging points. The town borders Almondell Country Park, where 18th-century mill ruins dot the wooded River Almond valley.
