Urquhart is a small Moray settlement reached via the A96 and local roads through Lhanbryde. It sits among the fertile farmland between Elgin and the Moray Firth coast, close to RAF Lossiemouth. The area has good EV charging facilities with over 20 fast chargers nearby. The name derives from Gaelic "iuchar," meaning "casting place," probably referring to an ancient river crossing.
