Upper Sundon perches on the Chiltern escarpment in Central Bedfordshire, reached via the A6 through Barton-le-Clay or from M1 Junction 12. Popular with Londoners as it's 50km north of the capital, whilst locals use it for daily Luton commutes. The 13th-century All Saints church contains remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
