England
Upper Greetland perches on the Pennine slopes above Greetland village in West Yorkshire's Calder Valley. Reach it via the A629 Halifax-Huddersfield road, turning off through Greetland and climbing the hillside streets. Long-distance visitors use M62 Junction 24, whilst locals know the winding routes to Norland Town and West Vale. The Victorian terraced streets were purpose-built for Crossley mill workers, many retaining their distinctive stone mullioned windows.
