Upper Broadheath lies 6 miles west of Worcester in rolling Worcestershire countryside. Take the A44 from Worcester, then turn north through Cotheridge, or approach via the A4103 from Hereford. The village sits on gentle hills above the Severn valley with good motorway links via the M5. This is the birthplace of composer Edward Elgar, whose cottage remains as a museum on the main village road.
