Upper Beeding lies in the Adur Valley between the South Downs, reached via the A283 from Steyning or Shoreham-by-Sea. The A24 from Horsham provides the main northern approach, whilst Brighton sits 15 kilometres southeast. Over 350 EV charging points serve the area. The village church contains remarkable 13th-century wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
