Upminster
England
England
Upminster marks Greater London's northeastern boundary in Havering, where suburban streets give way to Essex countryside. The A124 provides the main route west to Romford and the A12 for London, whilst eastward connections lead to the M25 via the A127. The town serves as the eastern terminus for both the District line and London Overground, making it popular with commuters. Its working 1803 windmill remains one of Greater London's few operational flour mills.
