Two Bridges

England

England

Two Bridges lies at the heart of Dartmoor where two medieval clapper bridges span the West Dart River. The B3357 provides the main access from Tavistock (15km west) or Buckfastleigh (25km east), whilst popular short trips include Postbridge (6km) for its famous clapper bridge and Princetown (3km) with its historic prison. The 18th-century Two Bridges Hotel retains its original stone mounting block from the coaching era.
