Twiston is a small Ribble Valley village surrounded by farmland and Pennine foothills, with views toward Pendle Hill. Reach it via the A59 through Chatburn or Downham, about 8km from Clitheroe. Popular with day-trippers exploring local walking routes to nearby villages like Downham and Barley. The village's 12th-century St. Bartholomew's Church contains some of the oldest stonework in the valley.
