Twineham is a small West Sussex village about 10 miles north of Brighton, reached via country lanes from the A23. Popular with commuters using the A23 to London or Brighton, it sits between the South Downs and Weald in gentle countryside. The 13th-century St Peter's Church has a rare wooden bell turret.
