Tumblin lies in central Shetland along the A970, about 25km northwest of Lerwick. The main road connects it to neighbouring settlements like Bixter and Aith, whilst longer routes lead south to Lerwick or north toward the parishes. With over 20 EV charging points nearby and Tingwall Airport just southeast, it's well-positioned for island travel. The settlement sits close to Stanydale Temple, a remarkable Neolithic site older than Stonehenge.
