Tullyardan forms part of Derry's suburban sprawl along the River Foyle, just 9km from the city centre via Culmore Road. The A2 from Belfast takes 90 minutes, whilst the A5 from Dublin runs about two hours through Omagh. City of Derry Airport sits nearby for air travellers. The area offers lovely views across the Foyle toward Donegal's Inishowen Peninsula, where the ancient Grianan of Aileach fort crowns the skyline.
