Tuffley forms part of Gloucester's southern suburbs, easily reached via the A38 from the city center or M5 Junction 12. This residential area developed during post-war expansion and offers good access to both Gloucester's amenities and the Severn Vale countryside. The nearby Sandford Parks Lido, dating from 1935, remains one of England's few surviving outdoor public swimming pools.
