Trim sits along the River Boyne in County Meath, just 50 minutes from Dublin via the M3 motorway. The medieval town serves as a popular stop on heritage tours, with excellent connections to Navan and Kells for local traffic. Trim Castle's massive keep dominates the town centre, but its real claim to fame is the extraordinary 20-sided tower, one of only three built by the Anglo-Normans in Ireland.
