Traboe lies on the Lizard Peninsula between Cornwall's Atlantic coast and the Helford River. Reach it via the A3083 from Helston, then minor roads through typical Cornish farmland. The area serves RNAS Culdrose helicopter base and connects to Truro (35km) and local villages. You'll hear Royal Navy search and rescue helicopters practising overhead throughout the day.
